Life,Photo’s,Ranting

Yawns, Woke up this morning and went to school. Supposed to help dickson shoot his group photo before he goes to thailand, Move the stuff in the darkroom to make way for more stuff and cover an event with Liu Ying after that. Well everything was done according to plan. Was quite funny this morning when we were all sitting there and i said that Nick should be coming soon. 3 seconds later he came in. Was damn weird but not only that happened. Alfred came in later and shortly after that i said that Alvin should be coming soon. True enough 5 seconds later he turned up. Everyone that was there started laughing. Finally i said “let me say something impossible. Dickson should be coming now. But since he is always late he would come in later” and true enough about 5-10secs later Dickson walked into the doors of cyber center! Haha! Am i good or am i good? After that went to help Dickson get his photos, went for lunch at Mensa (it’s finally opened!), went to help Dickson get more photos, move the stuff in darkroom, developed some photos, help Dickson get more photos (yea it happened a few times) and finally went to shoot the CO rehearsal with LiuYing, YaWen and PangHock. Quite fun going all the way up stage and point a huge lens straight into their faces. hehe. Met Geraldine again with her friend for about 5mins before heading back to CC to upload photos and back to the darkroom again! Practiced developing more photos again. Haha! It’s addictive! I really like the darkness of that place! haha! Went for dinner after that and went home.

On a side note: BYE DICKSON! HAVE FUN AT THAILAND!

Damn computer! I’m really starting to hate technology! Why is it that every problem with a computer in my house is left to me to solve! WTF! I don’t even know what I’m doing most of the time. Now I’ve been spending the last 2 hours to solve my Itunes in my com for what? Cause my BROTHER wants to update HIS damn Ipod. Why couldn’t he do it when i was not at home? All he did was play with facebook and his guitar with my com IN FRONT of him! And he is the one who wants it fixed! Why the hell can’t he do it himself? So what if he is from the army. He is bloody treating himself like a damn king lah! Every time finding excuses to get away from stuff like walking the dog! Saying he is lazy and I’m the ONLY child in this family who walks the dog. Not to complain or anything. And now this stupid Itunes is driving me insane! If i can throw my com out the window i would. This is why I’m sooooo tempted to get myself a damn mac! Cause no one in the family would know how to use it. And it would be a damn good excuse to get them to solve their problems themselves. It’s really damn annoying.

Got woken up by my brother playing his guitar this morning. After a while music becomes noise and that is what is happening now. After a while it gets annoying. Anyway i went to school this morning to meet nick, dickson and alvin. Instead met up with everyone mentioned there along with Sharon, Clara, YaWen and Alfred. Went for lunch with them and ended up at the darkroom. Haha! Nick developed his film after about screaming 5-10 times. He could not get the damn film in the reel. It was damn fun freaking out sharon in the darkroom. Jeffery our darkroom ghost had to play apart with it! Also along with Steven, the darkroom cockroach that lives in the curtains. Yea the one with played hide and seek with me till i admitted defeat. So i guess it would be staying for a while. Nick left and soon after sharon and clara also disappeared leaving Dickson, Alfred and me. Thought Alvin how to develop and than we left for Orchard where we stayed for about 30mins and left for Orchard to meet up with Alfred and YaWen again. Ate dinner together and went shopping around till about 930. The weird thing is that i met my brother at MPH at the city link mall.. It was damn shocking. Haha! Walked home with him as me met at the MRT again later. Turns out he was watching a movie at Marina Square. haha!

On a side not my mersing trip got cancelled due to not enough people going. Sad huh? O well that means i would be shooting every other second of the Freshman orientation.

Went to school today at about 11 to go to the darkroom with nick to develop our photos. You know the one’s where i had to put my hand into the chemical filled buckets to get out. And it turns out that we had to wait for about 5mins to expose out photos AND it still turned out under exposed! After about 6 tired i just gave up. At about 2 i went to my dental appointment and nick followed me. It cost me $16 i did not expect. ended up walking around broke after that. Feeling sucked. Now i know the life of a penny-less person. Lucky my bank had about 20bucks left which i used on film and lunch. Haha! We waited for Dickson at Funan till about 6. He was about an expected 1hr late? Not that bad compared to 6.5 hrs before. But still nick was really damn pissed. I bet you one day he would really explode and tear Dickson’s head off. After that went back to school to meet Alfred, Alvin, Liu Ying and her friend who just joined VC. Due to me being a horribly forgetful person i am sad to announced i forgot her name already.. SORRY if your reading this!!! VERY SORRY! We went for dinner and went back home after.

Woke up today thinking i would be late. Really surprised to see my brother sleeping on the living room couch. Did not know he would be coming back today. Went climbing today with Nick, Dickson, Suan Yang, ShuXian and Alvin. I was a really damn fun experience climbing up hitting the roof and than falling all the way back down to earth. I also found out i really like climbing! And how fun it was to me during my scout days in primary school. Really had a damn good time. Except the part when i fell down and before hitting the padding on the floor my foot had to hit another ‘rock’ before i landed! It hurt for like 3-4mins and shortly after i was back on the rocks and falling again. Went to school after climbing with Nick and ShuXian where we met Clara and Sharon. Helped PangHock with getting rid of the waste chemical’s in the darkroom! Haha! Finally! 40 liters of waste chemicals were finally removed from the darkroom and would be making it’s way to design school soon~ Thats means no more corroding floors. Haha! Went home around 615 for dinner.

Finally I’m home after being out since 8 in the morning! Day started with Alfred’s morning call which did not really work since i actually went back to sleep again for about 5-10mins. Met Liu Ying and Alexiel at bedok inter at about 830 but i was kinda late. Took 87 to hougang to meet Alfred and we departed for Krangi. Met Delia there at about 1045 and took the bus to the goat farm! We spend 2 hours there shooting goats, goats and more goats. Also tried drinking goats milk and i was even tempted to deliver it home. But well… I did not have the money and also no one would be home if it arrived anyway so decided to drop the whole idea after about 5seconds of pondering. After the goat farm we decide to go to the frog farm which was damn boring! There were only frogs and the occasional fish swimming around. Stale water was everywhere but the funny thing that no mosquito eggs were found anywhere. Alfred said it was “so ulu that even mosquito’s don’t want to come here” and I actually have to agree with him. We ended up sitting there for about 30mins and when the bus came we all rushed up without thinking twice. Went to Woodlands for lunch and Liu Ying and I left for school. Alexiel left on the MRT to woodlands. Bus trip was nice. Talked quite a lot. Haha! Reached school, talked to Pang Hock and Humphrey for a while and went to bedok to meet my good old friends to watch soccer at Kallang.

Well, Singapore won 2-0 even though they missed like 4 shots? Well i did not really go for the match but mainly cause i actually missed hanging out with them. But for some reason i think all of them changed one way or another. More quiet, noisy, serious, not very sure what it is or maybe i have changed. Well I shall leave that question for another day. After the match we decided to go for supper at Bedok. Sadly Renhui had to go back directly after the match. The meal was great. Actually help me remember how secondary school was like. ha! i really miss those days… We finished around and all of us went back home.

Went with Alfred, Delia and Liu Ying to watch Rule No. 1 today and well i guess it was quite ok. 3.5/5 i say. Even though i did not even understand the ending until Alfred explained it to me. Haha! Well the day started with me going to city hall alone and meeting them and when everyone arrived we went to the cinema to buy tickets and have lunch. We did not really notice the time until we ordered and sat down. When we checked, it was 1240 and our movie was at 1. Stressing out we all stuffed the food down out throats and proceeded to the movie about 5 minutes late. At least we did not miss the 1st part of it. During the so called scary parts i actually decided to look left and right. I found it damn amusing, on my left Liu Ying was covering her face including her eyes with her bag and on my right Delia was also covering her face with her jacket and what’s better? She was actually twitching! haha! After the movie Delia left for work leaving Alfred, Liu Ying and me.

We roamed the place and when it was time for dinner, we went to lucky plaza to eat at some rabbit place. Never expected the tom yaim to be so freaking hot! After that we went to meet Dickson and Josias and Liu Ying went home. Leaving us to go to borders and read up on photography books. Left around 1030. Walking home, due to my Ipod’s battery dying all the images of the movie flashed through my head and i got rather panicky for some reason. Maybe due to the dim lights, long dark road up slope and without metal blasting in my ears. What really got me freaked is when i reached home and my mum was actually standing next to the dining table with the lights off and i never actually saw her until i was actually next to her! My heart nearly stopped! Like a ghostly figure right in front of me! haha!

I’m off to sleep have to wake up at 730 tomorrow for a shoot at krangi! wah lao! 1st time I’m going so far for a shoot! Hope i can wake up!

Woke up and went to school today to meet Nick, Alvin and Dickson for totally different things today. Nick to go darkroom with, Alvin to get my FAT camera back from and Dickson to add a Nikon hack on my 40D which is supposed to give nicer colours in the photo’s which he didn’t due to him being late. As usual.

Reached CC at about 11 and went with nick to subway at tampines to eat. I swear he is bloody addicted to it. He calls subway the sandwich of the gods. Well it started a really bad day for me. First we decided to cross the road so it would be easier to get to subway. What happened? We missed the damn stop therefore making the crossing of the overhead bridge totally redundant as we still had to walk the same distance. Next when we reached subway,I left my lens cap to reserve the table for us. The people next to our table went to put their tray on our table when i was ordering. What happens next? During that few seconds I turned around, someone went to clear the tray along with my lens cap! I got really damn stunned. It was only a few seconds damn it! So i went on to eat lunch pondering where my lens cap had gone. Stared at the people sitting around me and when we finally wanted to go, i looked at the dustbin and above it, guess what, I found my damn lens cap there.

Went back to school shortly after lunch and saw one of the cats outside CC. Since we had our camera’s with us we kinda spammed on the cat. Getting hot and sweaty, we went into CC to chill a while till Alfred and Alvin came in. Alfred and I were randomly pressing keys on Nick’s Macbook till he really got damn annoyed. Josias came in to say hi and went of to camp after a while and Clara also came to change the photo’s on the walls. After a long while, Dickson came in. About 5hours late. Apparently his lab flooded again or thats what i heard. Went to the darkroom so i can process my 1st roll of film! It was fun and for some reason i could actually see in there. Shocking right? I also managed to wind the whole roll of film in what dickson says record timing! Ha! Not bad for a 1st timer! What happened next totally stunned all of us in the darkroom. When removing the chemicals into the container, nick said that the worst thing that can happen now is everything falls into the bucket. Bucket was full of used chemicals, 2 dead roaches and some aluminum foil. As soon as he said that guess what happened? The cap fell loose and everything dropped into the container! And i had to put my hand in that bucket to get the film’s out. Now my hand still smells of stop bath. Well on the bright side my film’s turned out quite good actually. Went back to CC after that to chat with the people and left for home at about 7 due to my dad calling me.

Grrrrrrrrrrr(in a wookie tone)! Damn I’m tired from all that walking i did today. Got awoken by my sis getting scolded for some reason i did not even try hearing and went to church at 1030. Its Easter! It’s supposed to be the most important date for my religion. Even more important than chirstmas! Won’t go into details. After church went to vivo with my dad and sis. Its only the 2 of them cause mum as away at shanghai for holiday and my bro is somewhere in thailand for some army training. Leaving 3 of us alone. We ate at some place called White Dog Cafe. Food there was quite nice. But the price not so but at least the mango smoothie was damn shiok scale 8/10! After lunch got a sms from dickson to go shoot at clementi and went along with him and nick teo to shoot at the train track.

Met them in the MRT and we took the long trip to clementi, we walked to the train track started shooting a bit. With my legs shaking from the flimsy looking place with about a 8m drop down i some how managed to survive the place with out any of my 3 camera’s slipping from my grasp and dropping to it’s death. After that Dickson said we should try this fried dumpling’s at queensway which he considered a 10/10 according to nick teo’s food quality scale where 1 means vomit and 10 meaning instant orgasm. Interesting huh? Dickson even made a deal with me with his 24-70F2.8L lens. Haha! Well it turned out about a 7/10 to me. Did i mention we got lost trying to find the place? If not well dickson was so sure that the place was near IKEA. But it was actually the wrong direction. We took a bus to IKEA only to turn around and walk back to the MRT and further down and finally finding the place. I damn wasted 65cents on the bus! 65 CENTS! After dinner we went to Orchard so that we can get some idea’s for SYPA. We cabbed there with Nick paying cause he SOOOOOO needed to answer natures call and he did not want to use the toilets at the coffee shops there. Went to kino to flip through some books and left when the place closed. Went walking around wisma for a while and left home around 10.

Went to woodlands today to meet Renhui. Surprised he was actually interested in photography in the 1st place. Haha! New lesson learnt. We ended up walking around woodlands shooting insects around there. He was actually really interested to learn about photography. Well i still don think i would be able to teach people yet. Most of the time i did not even know wha i was talking about. Haha! Turns out that I’m really rusty with my macro lens, never used it for months. Quite missed shooting macro actually. Got to go out to shoot more! haha! I’ve got time but got no kaki *hint hint* haha! After woodlands went back home and presumed slacking around till now. Haha! Check out my photo’s at Deviantart
